The Mapcore Door Challenge
Pearly is a small standalone first person puzzle game built in Unreal Engine 4 for Mapcore’s 2018 Door Challenge.

- Adobe Audition (sound built using personal and public domain samples)
- Bosca Ceoil (additional sounds effects)
I really enjoyed building a level for this challenge. I really should do this sort of thing more often. It was nice to create something small and standalone; I feel that I was able to cram a small but atmospheric world within that interwoven space.
What I created was somewhat outside of the scope of the exercise, however, it’s all good experience. This has provided a test bed for some ideas and features I plan to use for ND1.
