“Designing fun and engaging gameplay in a massive universe”…
…was the name of the panel I attended at the 2017 PC Gamer Weekender. A couple of us trekked down to the Olypmpia Conference Centre in London to represent CIG and Star Citizen. We sat on a panel and discussed what it’s like to develop such a huge and varied game. There was also a Q&A session where we answered questions from the audience.
Despite the fact I was suffering after effects of a chest infection, I feel it went pretty well. I was able to hammer home the need for testing and iteration within level design and answer questions from the audience pertaining to Star Marine.
There was a panel held the following day, but as of writing no recording has been made available.
